We feel Drama is one of the most exciting of all the art forms.

At its best it involves us completely - whether we are acting ourselves or watching others act - and those occasions when we are gripped by some dramatic tension may be some of the most exciting in school.

We are fortunate at Sandy to have a thriving department.

We recognise the value of every student studying drama at year nine to build social skills and confidence and the subject is popular at GCSE and A level.

Drama examination results continue to be some of the highest in school and we attribute this to the department’s high standards and belief that every student has the ability to do well if they try their best.
