Geography
Welcome to the Geography department
The Geography area at Sandy Upper School is part of the Humanities Curriculum Area along with History and RE.
In Geography we aim to provide a learning environment that encourages independent learning, thinking skills, group work and the development of global issues.
The Geography area is equipped with two teaching rooms each with a projector and a TV/DVD player.
Also available are a bank of twenty laptops and a printer.
There are numerous resources available to pupils including a large video catalogue on Click View.
Geography encourages the use of ICT within all years from 9 – 13.
Geography at Sandy Upper School has an excellent record at GCSE and A Level and is becoming more popular as an option for GCSE.
