ICT Extra Curricular
Extra Curricular
The extra curricular program for the ICT department gives students a choice of opportunities which complement the ICT curriculum. These range from classes in computer animation and games development, to working with the network team to assist staff and other students with the use of ICT.

ICT Projects
All students have the chance to join a number of extra-curricular activities on offer from the ICT department. These are offered under the banner of ‘ICT Projects’. A number of projects are run in many different areas of ICT.
ICT Projects are run with small groups of students, where they can work together, under the guidance of a member of staff, to develop their skills in a particular area.
Students can develop their skills in 3D graphic design, 3D animation, Computer programming, Games development, Computer animation, Networking, Video production and much more.

ICT Student Tech Team
The Student Tech team is available to students with a keen interest in ICT and an obvious talent in the field. Places are limited and students will undergo an interview before being accepted onto the programme.
Students will complete a training course to teach them the skills needed to assist other students and staff within the school. This provides an excellent foundation for those students wishing to work in the ICT support and ICT management industry.
Session 6
For those students that are unable to fit ICT option into their option choices, we run a early morning lesson twice a week. This allows students to undertake an additional BTEC Diploma qualification as well as their normal option choices.
