The School was inspected on March 8th and 9th 2010.
The report which is attached indicates that this is an improving school providing a “satisfactory” standard with “good” features.
As I have stated on several occasions and as has been backed up by many newspaper articles, there is widespread agreement that the bar has been raised and that it is now far harder to achieve levels.
Nationally, many schools are finding themselves placed in either the category of Special Measures or Notice to Improve, while the number of schools being judged as Good or Outstanding is declining.
This report will be used to drive further improvements and the areas identified for improvement will feature in the School Development Plan.
