Read letter from School Governer regarding changes to the School day here...

The school is a non-smoking site. If students are caught smoking :-

First offence – 1 day in Retreat

Second Offence – 2 days in Retreat

Third offence – Exclusion

Parents will be contacted and we will also put you in contact with anti-smoking support. If students choose to be with other students who are smoking, even if they are not smoking themselves, they can expect to be punished, regardless of whether or not they were smoking. In the first instance this will be an after school detention.

Parent Voice
We are trying to create as many opportunities as possible for parents to become involved in the development of the school. Your views are important to us!

We would like to have a bank of parents on whom we can call when we need to seek views about impending developments and major changes to the running of the school. We would access your views in whatever way suited you best and at times and occasions convenient to yourselves e.g.:-

  • Occasional working groups, meeting at times convenient to parents
  • On line surveys
  • Questionnaires
  • Single question texts
  • Interviews
