Students will be able to attend these sessions and receive additional support and guidance.
Initially the sessions will be supervised by Ms Gibson but in the long run will be run by VI form student mentors.
We anticipate these session offering students either additional support or some gentle encouragement to complete both course and homework.
The school is a non-smoking site. If students are caught smoking :-
- First offence – 1 day in Retreat
- Second Offence – 2 days in Retreat
- Third offence – Exclusion
Parents will be contacted and we will also put you in contact with anti-smoking support. If you choose to be with other students who are smoking, even if you are not smoking yourself, you can expect to be punished, regardless of whether or not you were smoking. In the first instance this will be an after school detention.
