Attendance Officer 32.5 hours per week term time only plus 5 INSET training days NJC Level 4a points 11 – 15 £16,115 – £17,444 per annum (£21,166 – £22,911 pro rata) Required ASAP We are seeking to appoint a committed and resilient Attendance Officer to promote high levels of school attendance and punctuality, implement highly effective whole school attendance systems, and be responsible for individual casework.
The Attendance Officer will take a proactive role in improving attendance levels for all students, with particular attention to vulnerable groups. You will need to have excellent communication skills and the ability to build effective relationships with students, staff and parents/carers. You will be responsible for monitoring and improving attendance at both whole school and individual levels, working with families to reduce and eliminate barriers to good attendance. The role will include work with school staff and other agencies to address family needs that impact on attendance and progress.
